The conference will take place at Loughborough University.
Once you have booked your conference ticket, all pre-paid delegates will need to register on arrival.
Registration will take place in the West Park Teaching Hub which is off Ashby Road (A512) on the West side of the campus map
Sessions, Art Book Fair, keynotes will take place at West Park Teaching Hub and Burleigh Court on campus.
You will need to pick up your delegate badge, conference bag, conference programme and pre-booked lunch tickets. All delegates must pay to attend the conference. Details of conference fees are available online. Registration will take place:
Thursday 6th April 08.30 - 17.00
Friday 7th April 08.00 – 17.00
Saturday 8th April 08.00 – 15.00
Minimal luggage may be left at registration, Thurs 09.00 - 17.30, Fri 8.00 - 17.30, Sat 8.00 - 16.00

Conference delegates must book and pay for their own accommodation. The AAH and Loughborough University are not responsible for delegates' accommodation for the duration of the conference.
Here are some accommodation options provided by Loughborough University for AAH conference delegates. Credit card details are required to make a booking and confirmation shall be sent to your e-mail address. Payment should be made directly with the accommodation provider at the time of your stay.

Parking on Campus
If you are staying at Burleigh Court Hotel then you can leave it in the car park at Burleigh. If not, you will be directed to the Holywell car park. Security will give you a pass.
Lunch and Refreshments
Pre-booked Grab&Go lunch bags will be available for delegates on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Delegates that have booked will be given lunch tokens at Registration. Tea and coffee will be available during the morning and afternoon breaks on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
Lunch and refreshments will be served in the West Park Hub next to the registration area.
If you do not pre-book lunch, you can either bring lunch with you or pick up something within the conference venue.
Delegates who have pre-booked to attend one of the 4 different visits should have received booking confirmation in the form of an automatic receipt. Those attending visits will also be contacted by email.
Visit-goers should meet at the Registration Desk in West Park Hub at the allotted times. Click here for details about visits available. If visits don't sell out it may still be possible to sign up for some on the day, but don't rely on this being the case.
Thursday 6 April (18.00-19.00) - Mark Hallett - West Park Teaching Hub WPT0.02. Followed by a drinks Reception in West Park Teaching Hub (19.00-20.00). An optional (pre-booked) conference dinner is available at Burleigh Court at 20.00.
Friday 7 April (17.30 - 18.30) - Amelia Jones, West Park Teaching Hub WPT0.02. Followed by a drinks reception at Hazlerigg Hall on campus at 19.00 - 20.00.
Saturday 8 April (11.00 - 12.00) - Suzanne Lacy, West Park Teaching Hub WPT0.02.
Delegates attending the conference do not need tickets for keynotes and receptions.
If you are traveling to Loughborough by train, you will need to to get a taxi or bus from Loughborough train station to the university campus. There is a taxi rank outside of the station. The taxi fare will be about £10.00, ask the driver to take you to your accommodation or the West Park Teaching Hub on the campus.

All session rooms have been installed with a computer/laptop and will include an overhead projector with screen. Sound, DVD and WIFI will be available in all session rooms.
Speakers should bring their presentation on either a USB drive or CD (back-up copy is useful) and use Powerpoint or PDF (no Keynote please).
Additional technical requirements, if not already confirmed with the Conference Administrator, must be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org by 10th March 2017.
There will not be access to a printer or photocopier.

Other Useful Information
Conference proceedings may be photographed and filmed for media use by the AAH. There are cash points on campus.
