Conference Fees

All delegates (including convenors and speakers) must pay to attend the AAH conference taking place from 2 - 4 April 2009.

*Delegates wishing to attend for only one day at the day rate fee will be required to specify which day they will be attending.
Speakers/Convenors who qualify as concessions need only pay the appropriate concessionary fee, rather than the speaker/convenor fee. Proof of concessionary status will be requested upon registration at the conference.

Conference fees include: attendance to all academic sessions, plenary lectures, forums/ meetings, the bookfair, and conference receptions. Refreshments and lunches are also included. The fee covers conference events taking place from  Thursday 2 - Saturday 4 April 2009.
Conference fees exclude: accommodation. 

Discounts and Concessions: Concessions apply to students, unwaged and retired delegates and speakers. You will be required to provide proof of your AAH membership and concessionary status when you register.

Convenors and Speakers must pay to attend the conference. Discounted fees are available for Convenors and Speakers involved in sessions.

Booking Cancellation Policy
Refunds of up to 50% on all conference and bookfair bookings may be given up to 1 March 2009.

Grant for Independent AAH Members
Independent Members of the AAH*who are session convenors or who have had a paper or a poster accepted, can apply for a grant of up to £300 to cover some of the expenses of attending the conference. For an application form please contact ch-indeps@aah.org.uk
*Independent members must not have a full-time or near full-time employment within a single institution. They should have declared themselves as independent AAH members when joining/renewing. They must have been a paid-up AAH member for a full year prior to submitting an application.
