Environmentally Conscious Conference
Efforts are being made to 'green-up' the 2009 AAH Conference. The event is being organised in consultation with two other charities: Action for Sustainable Living (AFSL) and Fareshare. AFSL are advising on environmentally conscious options for producing the conference programme, packs and publicity. Fareshare is an organisation that redistributes food that has not been used during an event. The Conference Organisation Team would like to encourage all delegates to consider the following:

  • Catering for the AAH 2009 Conference will use locally sourced food where ever possible and any unwanted food will be redistributed through Fareshare.
  • Please avoid/limit printing, or print double-sided
  • If traveling to the event from abroad, please consider land-based options of travel. The following website gives comprehensive and useful information about international train travel http://www.seat61.com.htm
