Conference for 6th form students - Career Open Day: What’s it like to work in a museum?

Come and meet museum professionals, including the Director of the Wallace Collection, at this Key Stage 5 open day for any student interested in a career in museums. They will find out about varied aspects of and qualifications required for working in museums. There will be workshops about curating, education, conservation, fundraising, promotion and security.

Workshop - ECR Training Day: Using Historical Matrices & Printing Surfaces in Research

This hands-on, object-based training day will introduce 10 participants to the research of historical matrices/printing surfaces (e.g. cut woodblocks, etched metal plates, litho stones), emphasising pre-1830.

Free. Includes lunch, wine reception, and travel. Participants must be PhD students or have held a PhD for under 10 years (taken in/after 2007).
