Schools

The Schools Members' Group is run by and for teachers of art, architecture and design history in schools and further education colleges in the UK. We exchange ideas through an email group, produce resources for teachers and organise bi-annual conferences for teachers and students at Tate Britain. The group liaises with universities and with the QCA and examination boards over developments in the A level. We are currently working on a project to facilitate the introduction of History of Art in state schools.

The Schools Members' Group meets once a term at the Institute of Education, London, all are welcome! The next Schools group meeting will be announced on this page in due course. These online pagees are aimed at making it easier for teachers to participate in group activities and to communicate with each other and share information and resources. We look forward to hearing from you.

Chair of Schools Group, Carol Jacobi
Secretary of Schools Group, Kate Evans
Members: Nicolas Addison, Julie Hadley, Lawrence Wolff, Elizabeth Allen, Jeremy Gray
