New Voices Student Conferences
The SMC organises two one-day events each year, one in May, the other later in the year. Usually, these are two conferences at which students can present research-in-progress to an audience of their peers in an environment which combines academic rigour with a supportive atmosphere. Each event is held at a different university.

The Student Journals Directory is a list that contains details about publications that accept submissions from post graduate students.
Student Summer Symposium
The Student Summer Symposium is a two-day annual conference that combines student research papers with career-based workshops. The Symposium takes place at a different university each year in early Summer.
The 2008 Summer Symposium took place at Oxford Brookes University and the Ashmolean Museum, Oxford from 21 - 22 June.
AAH Student Dissertation Prize 2006-2007
The AAH is pleased to announce the winners of the Student Dissertation Prize, which is awarded in collaboration with Thames & Hudson Publishers
Congratulations to BA Dissertation winner , Nicola Sim, University of Nottingham for her essay, Performance and the Document: Reproduction, Recreation and Revision
Congratulations also to MA Dissertation winner, Anthony McGrath, The Open University for his essay, Challenging Hogarth: A Revisionist Account of the Authorship of the Court Room at the Foundling Hospital London
